Our four month old daughter has severe silent reflux and finding a wedge or any type of elevated product was almost impossible. Most were only elevated at 10 degrees. Plus they had no type of strap device so she could have rolled all over the crib. She's also highly picky about what she likes. She hates the swaddle because she can't move her arms and legs and she will not take a pacifier. So I was worried if she'd really take to the ARPillow but the first night we put her in it she slept like an angel. Now she's been in it a full week and when it's time for bed and we put her in it she smiles at us. She had been sleeping in her car seat as that was the only thing that was elevated high enough for her. When I was finally able to bring them home from the hospital, they cried a lot and wouldn't sleep through the night. My doctor and friends told me they were "colicky." I wish I'd know about it for my first baby! I found your website through a search engine when my daughter, Cora, was about three weeks old, she's 6 months now. I placed the order at 3pm and the sling was with me by 10am the next morning and it's the best thing I have ever bought and the one thing I would never do without. Cora's colic stopped that night and she never suffered again, and I believe that's due to the sling keeping her close to me where she could hear my heartbeat and be calm. It was extremely easy to put into place in Amy's pushchair - I have it in place within seconds. Once I have the Hoodie in place I leave it there as it is then ready for the next time I have to use the pushchair, ( the pushchair stills folds easily even with the Hoodie in place). Amy can then be put into the pushchair and wrapped in seconds - this not only allows us to be on the move almost immediately but Amy is very quickly settled. Once wrapped in the Hoodie Amy will sleep for hours - she looks and is indeed very cosy - never too hot or too cold as the Hoodie can easily be wrapped and unwrapped to allow for increases or decreases in temperature - going in and out of shops for example. I admitted defeat, and ordered a Baa Baa Blind and have used it on every holiday ever since. It has fitted every window, has loads of spare window suckers which I keep in the carry sack, and it's up on the window in a matter of seconds. It's worth noting that you can't really open a window with one of these stuck onto it, because it has to be fixed to the glass for the best fit, but I still think it's worth every penny. My aunt bought it for me and it makes bathing my baby so much easier, apart from them being slippery monkeys it was also great as she hated being naked in the earlier weeks and the quicker she was wrapped in a towel the better. I had seen them in magazines and thought they were a bit of a gimmick! But this has to be the best baby product ever! All my children have loved bathtime, and I would say having one of these chairs has been the key factor - now my son (aged 5 months) is using the same one, as he has from birth, in the bath the same time as his big sisters. I have my hands free (and no bad back!), he is secure and comfortable - everyone wins.This is by far the best and most practical baby item I have bought, a definate must have. It allows you to free up your hands to wash your baby while he sits comfortably and safely and you don't have to worry about them slipping out of your hands. "The best ever" I must add my comments. This bath seat is the best item we bought. Our 4 month old has used it from birth and she really enjoys bathtime. We can play with her easily as we have both hands free!
